Vodafail does it again: network failure over Easter Weekend

AUSTRALIA — Vodafone ‘Vodafail’ Australia—as it has come to be coined by many—left customer’s once again furious over yet another network failure on April 24.

The network outage occurred on the Easter Long Weekend leaving Vodafone customers with a greeting-less Easter Sunday.

“From 14:30 AEST 24/04/2011 to 21:34 AEST 24/04/2011 Users may have experienced difficulties in sending SMS,” Vodafone said on its support webpage.

“We apologies to customers for the inconvenience.”

The unsung hero was the social media platforms where Vodafone customers had no queries in expressing there anger towards Vodafone.

“April 25 – @Vodafone_AU @vodafoneau_help Thanks for the g8 service over Easter guys. Really appreciate not being able to send txt messages #vodafailure,” Vodafail, twitter account, said.
